Terms and Conditions

Catalog Items

All products listed in the catalog are maintained in stock, and all product specifications and prices for each are current as of the date of publication. Product listings, specifications and prices are subject to change without notice.

Non-Catalog Items

We regularly check with our suppliers for merchandise not listed in the catalog. If available from our authorized suppliers, purchases may be subject to minimum order quantities. Special order products are subject to sale on a non-cancelable, non-returnable basis.

Payment Methods

Orders are taken on open account, COD, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Open account status is normally granted to businesses that provide three trade references and one bank reference. Terms are net 30 days.

UPS imposes a $5.50 fee and Fedex imposes a $7.50 fee to process COD orders.

Orders shipped outside North America, require prepayment via either wire transfer or credit card.

Sales Tax

Garrett Electronics is required by law to charge and collect state and local sales tax on all orders shipped into California and Indiana. Open account customers must have a state sales tax exemption certificate on file with Garrett to avoid sales tax charges.

Packaging Fees

Packaging charges apply to the following package types:

Continuous cut tape with leader and Tape and Reel with leader.

Returns

Returns must be made promptly and accompanied by a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without authorization will not be accepted. Returns may be subject to a restocking fee of 15-25%.

Discrepancies and/or damage must be reported within 30 days of the invoice date to qualify for return.

Prices

Garrett makes every effort to ensure that catalog and website prices are accurate and current. However, prices are subject to change without notice. All orders are subject to current pricing at time of order placement.

All prices are in U.S. dollars ($) unless otherwise noted.

Freight

All freight charges will be paid by the customer. All packages are shipped FOB Origin (Santa Maria, California, USA)

UPS, Federal Express, DHL, California Overnight, Emery and the U.S. Postal service are available as freight carriers.

Orders shipped outside North America require a shippers freight account number. We do not prepay and add freight on Intermational orders.
